Etinan Divitional Police Officer CSP Mfon Emem begins community tour. Today She's in Ndon Eyo II

The Divisional Police Officer in Etinan CSP Mfon Emem has embarked on tour of communities in an attempt to build confidence among citizens as well as seek partnership with the community in tackling crime.


Her tour took her to Mbioto Ekpene Ituen in Southern Iman Ward 5 where she met with the village council and the people on Monday, August 19th 2020

CSP Emem said;

“I am here in your midst because the work of security is not successfully done from the office. I have come to identify with my people. We are taking it to the grassroots because we are public servants.


She emphasized that without the people there will be no police and called for partnership between the community and the police.


“If there are criminals they should relocate because I am coming for them. I don’t call black white. You know yourselves. It is the people that leads a thief to the house. Don’t harbour criminals. Don’t provide cover for criminals.

Peace of mind is paramount. All hands must be on deck to provide security in the community. 

Today being 23rd August, The DPO CSP visited Ndon Eyo II Etinan where she met with Village Head of Ndon Eyo II, Ete Idong John Udoh, The Youths President and the entire people of Ndon Eyo II Community. she's advising  people of Ndon Eyo II especially the Youths to shone all form criminal activities as there's no hiding place for criminals in Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa-Ibom State.

CSP Emem said The whole Etinan would be too hot for the bad elements to operate, she said for their for their own goods they should either turn a new leaf of relocate from the community.

CSP Mfon Emem also said that without the support of some bad community members, the criminals can not operate, she said that any person or group of people hiding these criminals in their domain, houses will  equally be treated as a criminal. 

The Village head and his cabinet were very happy for the visit the community as it's very timely, Ete Idong John Udoh Thank CSP Mfon Emem for her courageous and  renew strength to fight all form of criminality in the community. 

Ete Idong John Promise to work hand in hand with CSP Emem to make sure that Ndon Eyo II is safe and free from all form of crim for his  subjects to live in peace and carry out their lawful activities.

In the same vein the youth president promised to always preach peace and orientation to all the youth to shown all form of criminality.
