Drugs and Substance Abuse: Negative Effects; How to Combat them.

Drugs and Organize Crime are Twins Brothers.

Researchers have shown that people who were once nice and loving before attempting drugs, would most likely be an opposite of their behavior once they started to abuse drugs.

Because extremely Addictive, and the strong desire for drugs at all times, the tendency of getting them at all cost will push the abusers in to criminality in other for them sustain their addiction.

What that means is that they wouldn't mind going into crime so long as the get the money to buy these drugs,

There's no crime that's too much to commit drugs Addict.

From Petty theft to armed robbery to kidnapping an even cultist.

There is no positive Effects  of Abusing Drugs rather the negative effects of drug abuse is endless, I will state just eight negative effects of drugs abuse.

1. Health problems: Substance abuse can lead to various health problems, such as organ damage, cardiovascular issues, respiratory problems, liver diseases, and impaired immune system function. Some substances can also cause mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and psychosis.

2. Addiction: Substance abuse can lead to addiction, which is characterized by a compulsive desire to seek and use drugs or alcohol despite negative consequences. Addiction can have a severe impact on an individual's personal, social, and professional life.

3. Impaired cognitive function: Substance abuse can severely impair cognitive function, leading to memory problems, difficulty concentrating, decreased problem-solving abilities, and impaired decision-making skills. This can significantly impact an individual's ability to perform at work or school and can lead to poor academic or professional outcomes.

4. Relationship issues: Substance abuse can strain relationships with family members, friends, and romantic partners due to erratic behavior, financial problems, and a breakdown in trust. These issues can often lead to isolation and social withdrawal.

5. Legal consequences: Substance abuse can lead to legal problems, including arrests for possession, driving under the influence, or engaging in criminal behaviors to support the addiction. These legal issues can have long-lasting consequences, such as imprisonment, probation, fines, and difficulty finding employment or housing.

6. Financial impact: Substance abuse is often associated with significant financial consequences, as individuals may spend a large amount of money to obtain drugs or alcohol. This can lead to financial instability, debt, and an inability to meet basic needs.

7. Risk of accidents and injuries: Substance abuse increases the risk of accidents and injuries, both for the individual and others. Impaired judgment and coordination can lead to car crashes, falls, burns, and other accidents, resulting in serious harm or even death.

8. Neglect of responsibilities: Substance abuse can cause individuals to neglect important responsibilities, such as work, school, or child care. This can result in job loss, academic failure, and child custody disputes.

Overall, substance abuse has a deeply negative impact on an individual's physical and mental health, relationships, functioning, and overall quality of life. Supporting individuals in seeking help for substance abuse is crucial to mitigate these detrimental effects.
