Corruption is The major reasons for poverty in Nigeria


 The Nigerian economy is one of the largest in Africa and is primarily driven by oil exports. However, it is also diversified with sectors such as agriculture, telecommunications, banking, manufacturing, and services contributing to its growth.


Nigeria has faced various economic challenges, including a heavy reliance on oil revenue, corruption, inadequate infrastructure, and high unemployment rates. These factors have hindered the country's economic development and contributed to income inequality.

In recent years, the Nigerian government has made efforts to diversify the economy, improve infrastructure, and attract foreign investment. Initiatives such as the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) have been implemented to address these challenges and promote sustainable economic growth.


Despite these efforts, the Nigerian economy has been impacted by external factors such as fluctuations in oil prices and the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the country has shown resilience and potential for growth, with sectors like technology and agriculture gaining momentum.


Moving forward, it is crucial for Nigeria to continue its efforts in diversifying the economy, improving governance, investing in human capital, and addressing infrastructure gaps to achieve sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

Stopping corruption in a country requires a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach involving various stakeholders. Here are some ways to combat corruption:


1. Strengthening institutions: Enhance the independence, transparency, and effectiveness of institutions responsible for combating corruption, such as anti-corruption agencies, judiciary, and law enforcement agencies.

2. Promoting transparency and accountability: Implement measures to ensure transparency in government processes, public procurement, and financial transactions. This includes the use of technology, open data initiatives, and public disclosure of information.

3. Enforcing anti-corruption laws: Strengthen legislation and enforce existing anti-corruption laws rigorously. Ensure that those involved in corrupt practices are held accountable, regardless of their position or influence.

7. Promoting citizen participation: Engage citizens in decision-making processes, encourage active participation, and create platforms for public scrutiny and feedback.


8. Strengthening financial systems: Implement measures to enhance transparency and accountability in financial systems, such as stricter regulations on money laundering and illicit financial flows.


9. Promoting ethical business practices: Encourage businesses to adopt and enforce anti-corruption policies, promote fair competition, and establish codes of conduct.


10. Fostering a strong civil society: Support and protect civil society organizations, media, and investigative journalism, as they play a vital role in exposing corruption and holding public officials accountable.


It's important to note that eradicating corruption is a complex and long-term process. It requires sustained commitment, political will, and the active participation of all stakeholders, including the government, civil society, private sector, and citizens.

Criminals has taken over Ndon-Eyo II in Etinan L.G.A

 Notorious Criminals Has Taken Over Ndon-Eyo11 Village. For over two months now the people of Ndon-Eyo11 Village in Etinan LGA of Akwa-Ibom State has been sleeping with their two eyes closed. They have turn the ones peaceful quite Village to a deans of criminals, they forcefully taken people's Properties, smashing people motorcycles and brake and enters people's houses in a broad daylight. This incident has been reported to the Etinan Divisional Police office and the the police had made some arrests, but these dose not deter them from Carrington out their nefarious acts.  The Village head and his cabinet seems to be helpless, as there's no effort knowing us on how  put so far to bring these criminals to their knees.  Unfortunately the link leaders of the criminals are know people from the same Ndon-Eyo11.  We call on relevant authorities to please come to the rescue of Ndon-Eyo11 for the destruction of people's properties and stealing of people properties is beyond the
