    Nobody on earth seems to know the meaning of the name Esu,please I need to know the meaning because we named our son after his father and even the father himself dosen't know the meaning of his name,surprisingly

      is it Esu or Esun? based off what i'm pronouncing Esu to mean, it could be "clan" also meaning family group and Esun would be curse.

      It means God's word has finally come to pass. Iko abasi ewuo esu. So it is the short form they choose to call him which is Esu. Is a very good an meaningful name.

The Ibibio people, who speak a Niger-Congo language called Ibibio or Efik-Ibibio. History has it that Ibibo people have been in the present day Nigeria since 7,000 BCE.  They were "The Man's World kind of society" and are believed to have first settled in a place they called Ibom, which  was the name of their an  ancestor. The Ibibo people are an ethnic group predominantly found in southern part of Nigeria, specifically in the Akwa-Ibom, Cross River, Rivers and Abia States.  They are related to the Ibibio people and speak a related language known as Ibibio-Efik. Criminals has taken over Ndon-Eyo II in Etinan L.G.A

 Notorious Criminals Has Taken Over Ndon-Eyo11 Village. For over two months now the people of Ndon-Eyo11 Village in Etinan LGA of Akwa-Ibom State has been sleeping with their two eyes closed. They have turn the ones peaceful quite Village to a deans of criminals, they forcefully taken people's Properties, smashing people motorcycles and brake and enters people's houses in a broad daylight. This incident has been reported to the Etinan Divisional Police office and the the police had made some arrests, but these dose not deter them from Carrington out their nefarious acts.  The Village head and his cabinet seems to be helpless, as there's no effort knowing us on how  put so far to bring these criminals to their knees.  Unfortunately the link leaders of the criminals are know people from the same Ndon-Eyo11.  We call on relevant authorities to please come to the rescue of Ndon-Eyo11 for the destruction of people's properties and stealing of people properties is beyond the
