THE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF NDON EYO II VILLAGE IN ETINAN:


 Ndon Eyo II in Etinan L.G.A is one of the popular communities in the South-South Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria. Ndon Eyo II is one of the 65 Villages under Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa-Ibom State, which was created out of Cross River State on the 23rd of September 1987 Wikipedia of Akwa-Ibom State . 

 Etinan was the headquarters of Uyo Province before 1976 when Uyo was a Division of South Eastern State of Nigeria.

Ndon Eyo II is shares common Boundaries with Ekpuk , Nya Odiong and border with Qua Ibo River to Ndon Eyo I.

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND CLIMATE:

Ndon Eyo II is located on Latitude of 05001'N and Longtitude of 07054'E.

It is 65.5 Kilometers South of Uyo the Akwa-Ibom State capital, an hour drive to Akwa Ibom International Airport  

It is less than 20 kilometers to Etinan L.G.A Secretariat

Ndon Eyo II is also bless with fresh water surrounding the Village, from Idim Ataiso to Idim Esa down to Idim Etuk, Idim Eko Ikpe . All these streams emptying in to a fast current creek call Idim Afia, down to Qua Ibo River.

The entire Village lies in the tropical rain forest belt and has two distinct seasons - the rainy season and the dry season. The two vegetation is evergreen .

Ndo Eyo has a large amount of crude oil deposited in the mangrove swam forest of the bank of Qua Ibo River.

Criminals has taken over Ndon-Eyo II in Etinan L.G.A

 Notorious Criminals Has Taken Over Ndon-Eyo11 Village. For over two months now the people of Ndon-Eyo11 Village in Etinan LGA of Akwa-Ibom State has been sleeping with their two eyes closed. They have turn the ones peaceful quite Village to a deans of criminals, they forcefully taken people's Properties, smashing people motorcycles and brake and enters people's houses in a broad daylight. This incident has been reported to the Etinan Divisional Police office and the the police had made some arrests, but these dose not deter them from Carrington out their nefarious acts.  The Village head and his cabinet seems to be helpless, as there's no effort knowing us on how  put so far to bring these criminals to their knees.  Unfortunately the link leaders of the criminals are know people from the same Ndon-Eyo11.  We call on relevant authorities to please come to the rescue of Ndon-Eyo11 for the destruction of people's properties and stealing of people properties is beyond the
